Today a statue of John Lennon by Laura Lian was unveiled by Cllr Richard Kemp and Project Manager of Penny Lane Development trust Julie Gornell. The statue has been on tour and has now come home to stay in Penny lane, It will eventually be moved to a more permanent home outside St Barnabas church.
Laura Lian is a professional artist who specializes in sculpture.
Her commission work is diverse, from portraits , fibre optics, parapets for corporate, private and public.
