While addressing the country on the occasion of Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned many important issues like self-sufficient India, dispute with China in Ladakh, corona epidemic. In his speech from the Red Fort, PM Modi also saluted the daughters of the country. During this time, PM Modi said that the government is reviewing the age of marriage of girls in India. He told that committees have been made for the right age for marriage. He said that right decisions will be taken regarding the daughters' marriage age as soon as its report comes.

स्वतंत्रता दिवस के मौके पर देश को संबोधित करते हुए प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने आत्मनिर्भर भारत, लद्दाख में चीन के साथ विवाद, कोरोना महामारी जैसे कई अहम मुद्दों का जिक्र किया. लाल किले से अपने भाषण में पीएम मोदी ने देश की बेटियों को भी सलाम किया. इस दौरान पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि भारत में लड़कियों की शादी की उम्र को लेकर सरकार समीक्षा कर रही है।उन्होंने बताया कि शादी के लिए सही उम्र क्या हो, इसके लिए कमेटियां बनाई गई हैं. उन्होंने कहा इसकी रिपोर्ट आते ही बेटियों की शादी की उम्र को लेकर सही फैसले किए जाएंगे.
