Caloocan village locked down

Barangay 128 in Caloocan City was placed on total lockdown from August 14 to 20 because of the sudden increase of coronavirus disease cases in the area.
Mayor Oscar Malapitan ordered the lockdown after the City Health Department recorded 22 active cases.
With the lockdown, the mayor said there would be time for mass testing and extensive contact tracing while disinfection would be conducted by the city’s Department of Public Safety and Traffic Management within the village.
