Gerik MP Datuk Hasbullah Osman explained that Economic Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali had advised some Barisan Nasional lawmakers to not jump parties.

He said this in response to media inquiries at the Parliament lobby on Monday, over contradicting statements involving Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and Azmin over the “secret” meeting.

Hasbullah insisted they met with Azmin to discuss the allocation application for their constituencies.
