Many MPs left the Dewan Rakyat due to the unruly behavior of Opposition MPs

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Liew Vui Keong said the unruly behaviour of Opposition MPs were among the reasons why Pakatan Harapan MPs occasionally leave the Dewan Rakyat proceedings.
Liew said that at times, many Opposition MPs do not debate ethically as they were only shouting, or raising irrelevant issues to the subject (matter being debated).
On Tuesday night, the 2020 Budget for the Women, Family and Community Development Ministry was nearly defeated after Opposition MPs called for a bloc vote twice when they noticed that they had more MPs in the Dewan Rakyat than Pakatan.
