Sri Lanka said on Wednesday all those responsible for anti-Muslim rioting this week in apparent retaliation for Easter bombings by Islamist militants had been arrested.

Minister of plantation industries, Navin Dissanayake, said the attacks were carried out by "organised thugs", and assured that peace had been restored.
