Media personnel staking out at the North Korean embassy in Kuala Lumpur saw former North Korean ambassador to the UN Ri Tong-il leaving in a car with several other officials at 5.40pm. The ambassador to Malaysia Kang Chol has been directed to leave Malaysia within 48 hours and there about 24 hours more left for him to do so.
