Kadir: Media companies can be independent

Media and communication of Council of Elders (CoE) head Datuk A. Kadir Jasin said on Friday that media companies have the potential to stand independently, despite being owned by political parties. Kadir, who is also a veteran journalist said there are no laws prohibiting political parties from owning media companies.
