Federal Territories Mufti Datuk Dr Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri told reporters on Thursday that he holds on to what the Prime Minister said about not abolishing Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (Jakim) but reviewing its role to better enhance and empower it. He said this after a 90-minute meeting with the Council of Eminent Persons.
