Dr Azmi: There are pushbacks against radical Islamist but I was denied appropriate forum

Law professor and activist Assoc Prof Dr Azmi Sharom answered a question from a participant at the third Liberalism Conference held at Rennaisance Hotel in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday, about why there are no pushbacks against Islamic extremists taking centre stage in the media. He said he had been making pushbacks but unfortunately he was denied the appropriate forum from the Malay media. He added that the Malay media will likely spin his words to produce negative results.
