Part three of Tan Sri Dr Fong Chan Onn's talk on “The Chinese Primary School: A Tale of Its Adaption to Multi-Ethnic Environment”, where the former Education Minister raised several relevant economics and administrative research issues and answered queries from the audience regarding the importance and relevance of the Chinese language, the benefits of learning an extra language, the current state and future of Chinese primary and secondary schools in Malaysia and so on. Dr Fong spent a year visiting and photographing 150 Chinese schools around the country to document them for posterity.
