During a question-and-answer session with Kampung Baru residents on Tuesday, chairman of the Council of the Eminent Persons Tun Daim Zainuddin expressed regret over the loss of RM150bil worth of assistance meant for only the bumiputras and Malay people. However, the Malays had shown no major progress in elevating their economic status.
