China Communications Construction Co Ltd and Malaysia Rail Link Sdn Bhd, which are constructing the East Coast Rail Link project, have hired more than 200 local workers so far. It aims to recruit at least 70% local workers of some 30,000 workers needed for its peak period of construction in late 2019.
