Hadi to non-Muslim MPs: Don’t behave like Jakarta governor Ahok!

PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang told the non-Muslim parliamentarians who opposed amendments to the Syariah Court and hudud, not to act like the Indonesian capital's governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama aka Ahok who was suspected of insulting the Quran. Ahok is the nickname of Purnama, the first non-Muslim Indonesian Governor. He allegedly insulted the Quran when he encouraged a small audience during his work visit, not to be deceived by those who sought to use Quranic verse of Al-Maidah 51 to prevent voters from selecting a non-Muslim leader.
