Ayu Mazlan, the wife of Malaysia's sole representative on board the seized humanitarian aid vessel 'Al-Awda' together with some MPs called for the immediate release of the activists held by Israeli forces. The MPs included Deputy speaker and Batu Pahat MP, Datuk Mohd Rashid Hasonon, Ledang MP Syed Ibrahim b Syed Noh, MCA deputy president and Ayer Hitam MP Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.
Israel forces violently boarded the Al-Awda, which was delivering relief supplies for Palestinians in Gaza last Sunday.
