Broad suffers from asthma is not a secret. The England quick had revealed during the 2015 Ashes that because of a premature birth, Broad has half a lung less that his contemporaries and at times requires the inhaler to cure asthma. Yet, despite his struggle, Broad bowled an immaculate first spell. He even almost had Pakistan captain Azhar Ali, who was dropped in the slips. It’s slightly incomprehensible knowing that a cricketer, let alone a fast bowler with over 500 Test wickets has survived for 14 years with one and a half lungs.

इंग्लैंड के तेज गेंदबाज स्टुअर्ट ब्रॉड ने एक बड़ा खुलासा किया है. स्टुअर्ट ब्रॉड गंभीर बीमारी से जूझ रहे हैं. स्टुअर्ट ब्रॉड ने कहा है कि उन्हें अस्थमा की दिक्कत है. और ये समस्या उन्हें बचपन से है. आपको बता दें, अन्तराष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट में ब्रॉड ने ये बात कई सालों तक छिपा रखी थी मगर साल 2015 में एशेज सीरीज के दौरान सभी को ब्रॉड की इस बीमारी का पता चल गया था. इस सीरीज से पहले के ट्रेनिंग कैम्प में ब्रॉड को इस बीमारी को लेकर खुलासा करना पड़ा था. ब्रॉड ने डेली मेल में लिखा, "मेरे टीम के साथी चौंक गए थे जब मैंने उन्हें बताया कि मेरा डेढ़ लंग्स काम करता है. क्योंकि मैं तीन महीने पहले ही पैदा हो गया था और काफी कमज़ोर भी था."
