IGP: Militant Mahmud Ahmad has escaped Marawi

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said former university lecturer-turned-militant Mahmud Ahmad is believed to have escaped from Marawi, according to the information given by Philippines authorities. Khalid told reporters after attending the Bukit Aman Hari Raya open house on Sunday.
