Jazz Tan Yee Mei was 14 when she lost her father to gang-related violence. But instead of seeking revenge, she made it her mission to empower youths and keep them off the streets.

Today, the 27-year-old is the CEO and founder of YouthsToday.com, Malaysia's largest youth online engagement platform. For her work, she was chosen as one of the 10 winners of this year’s Star Golden Hearts Award.
