Second fire at the century-old pre-war shophouses

A fire broke out at the century-old pre-war shophouses in Cintra Street in George Town on Wednesday. Two units of the electrical service shop in were 90 percent destroyed in an afternoon fire on Wednesday, while its neighbouring unit, which is a heritage hotel, was partially damaged. The firemen took two hours to put out the fire. No casualty were reported.
