Furniture sector cries foul over ‘unpaid taxes’

Operators of furniture-painting industry are protesting against the unreasonable penalty imposed by the Customs for unpaid sales tax. Muar Furniture Association secretary-general Poh Leong Yah said they had been exempted from the tax for over 30 years.
