Nur Jazlan: Rape is still a crime

Responding to a statement by Tasek Gelugor MP Datuk Shabudin Yahya on a rape victim marrying the rapist, Deputy home Minister Datuk Nur Jazlan Mohamed said it is a different issue altogether if the victim's parents give their consent to marry, however a crime is still a crime. He added that a universal stance needs to be taken with regards to child marriages.
