Amended Domestic Violence Act to cover male victims and emotional abuse cases

The amendments to the Domestic Violence Act, will expand its scope to protect men and women alike. Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Rohani Abdul Karim said the Act would effectively protect anyone in a household subject to abuse.
