The Semenyih water treatment plant was closed for three days from Sept 22 following contamination in Sungai Semenyih has resumed operations on Wednesday. Natural Resources and Environment Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar released a statement stating that the local council should monitor the activities of business operating illegally located under their jurisdiction and to take appropriate enforcement action.
