There is good news for street vendors. The Modi government at the Center has made the terms of the PM Swanidhi scheme easier. Those who do not have identity card and sales certificate will also be able to take advantage of this scheme. Regarding this, the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has started a letter of recommendation i.e. LOR system. Under this, eligible street vendors will be given certificates or identity cards. So that they can take advantage of the scheme.

रेहड़ी-पटरी वालों के लिए एक अच्छी खबर है. केंद्र की मोदी सरकार ने पीएम स्वनिधि योजना की शर्तों को और आसान कर दिया है. जिनके पास पहचान पत्र और विक्रय प्रमाण पत्र नहीं है वो भी अब इस योजना का लाभ ले सकेंगे. इसको लेकर केंद्रीय आवास एवं शहरी कार्य मंत्रालय ने अनुशंसा पत्र यानी एलओआर व्यवस्था की शुरुआत की है. इसके तहत पात्र रेहड़ी पटरी वालों को प्रमाण पत्र या पहचान पत्र दिए जाएंगे. ताकि वो योजना का लाभ ले सकें. मंत्रालय की ओर से जारी बयान में कहा गया है कि पात्र रेहड़ी-पटरी वाले स्थानीय शहरी निकाय अनुशंसा पत्र के लिए अनुरोध कर सकते है।
