COVID-19 recovery rate improving in Gauteng

It seems the coronavirus spread is slowing down in Gauteng, but the Premier is warning against complacency. David Makhura has concluded his COVID-19 update briefing. The Special Investigation Unit has identified two senior officials in the Gauteng Department of Health, who are alleged to be at the centre of PPE tender corruption in the province. Soweto has the highest number of active COVID-19 cases in the province. Makhura says resources will be directed to the area to ensure regulations are followed.
