Homes inundated, trees uprooted as rains continue to lash TN’s Nilgiris

The recent rains have uprooted many trees and electric poles and flooded houses in low-lying areas, even as the Indian Meteorological Department predicted two more days of heavy rainfall and strong winds in parts of the state.
