Fewer promotions during lockdown

South Africans love their sales. Research company Nielsen found that the country is the second-most price-sensitive in the world. But, South Africans have had to curb their spending habits during lockdown. Fewer goods worth R14 billion were sold on promotion during April and May, compared to the same time last year. Amy Prinsloo, Sales Effectiveness Lead at Nielsen South Africa speaks further on this.
