Four Cheetah cubs are seen frolicking around their watchful mother after being born at the world's oldest zoo in the Austrian capital Vienna. Schonbrunn Zoo which is in the grounds of the former Imperial Palace in Vienna told Real Press that they were delighted when Afra, the cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus) mum, gave birth to the four cubs on 22nd June. The animals are kept in a safe place while their mother keeps an eye on them. The zoo also said it was not yet known what the sex of the babies was. Stephan Hering-Hagenbeck, Director and CEO of Schonbrunn Zoo added: “Now they are jumping playfully through the straw or around their mother Afra, who always keeps a watchful eye on them.”
