Sonke Gender Justice Network has condemned the Hawks' involvement in personal matters of top government officials. This after the Hawks arrested the wife of Former Cabinet Minister, Malusi Gigaba, on Friday on charges of crimen injuria and malicious damage to property. Deputy Finance Minister, David Masondo is also accused of using the Hawks to have his girlfriend arrested. Sonke has urged the Hawks to focus on their mandate, instead of interfering in domestic affairs. The organisation's Co-Executive Director Bafana Khumalo speaks more on that.
