EACC Gets Nod To Reposses Land Owned By Metrological Department

The anti-corruption commission has scored a major win against a former powerful civil servant accused of illegally hiving off meteorological department land and allocating it to himself. Wilson Gachanja, a former lands commissioner is accused of allocating himself and others land totaling to 53 acres at the industrial area valued at Kshs 5 billion. The win is a major score for the anti-graft body which has in the past been accused of pursuing small flies at the expense of the big guns.
