Back to school for matric pupils
Matric pupils will not face a disadvantage in their final exam this year due to the coronavirus pandemic. Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga says matriculants will sit for the same exam they would have written if it were a normal school year. She was speaking to pupils in Brits in the North West this morning. Matriculants went back to school yesterday after a one week break. Schools closed last week to prevent the spread of COVID-19 as the infection rate increases.
