Eskom and the Special Investigating Unit have issued summons in the North Gauteng High Court in an attempt to recoup some of the power utility's looted billions. It is alleged that about R3.8 billion was illegally diverted from Eskom. Eskom is pointing fingers at 12 people, including former CEO Brian Molefe, former acting CEO Matshela Koko, and former CFO Anoj Singh. Former Mineral Resources Minister Mosebenzi Zwane and the Gupta brothers are also named as defendants. Eskom spokesperson, Sikhonathi Mantshantsha provides more on this.
