Preparations are going on in full swing for the much-awaited Bhumi Pujan (ground-breaking ceremony) of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. However, in the wake of the novel coronavirus, which has claimed the lives of more than 36,000 people across the country, the number of guests invited for the event of the Ram Temple has been kept low. Reports have claimed that only 200 guests will be invited to the event. Except Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, no states/UT heads have been invited to the ceremony, scheduled to be held on August 5, Wednesday. Besides, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also take part in the event. Reports have claimed that he will reach Ayodhya on August 5 at 11 AM and will remain in the temple city till 1:10 PM. During Ram Mandir bhumi pujan PM Modi and other 4 will be in Puja Stage.

रामनगरी अयोध्या में पांच अगस्त को होने वाले श्रीराम जन्मभूमि मंदिर का भूमि पूजन तथा शिलान्यास समारोह कोरोना वायरस के कारण काफी सीमित कर दिया गया है। समारोह के लिए 200 से भी कम व्यक्तियों को आमंत्रित किया गया है, पहले दो सौ से अधिक लोगों को आमंत्रित करने की योजना थी। इतना ही नहीं भूमि पूजन के मंच पर पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी के साथ सिर्फ पांच हस्तियां ही रहेंगी। राम जन्मभूमि तीर्थ ट्रस्ट ने पहले कुल 208 लोगों की लिस्ट तैयार की थी। इसके बाद इसको काट-छांट के 180 तक किया गया है।कोरोना वायरस के संक्रमण के बढ़ते प्रसार को देखते हुए फिलहाल जो योजना है, उसके मुताबिक, देशभर से करीब सौ वीवीआइपी को सीधे पीएमओ से बुलावा भेजा जा रहा है, जबकि अयोध्या के 60-70 शीर्ष संतों को श्रीराम जन्मभूमि तीर्थक्षेत्र ट्रस्ट ने न्यौता भेजा है। आमंत्रण ईमेल और फोन से भेजे जा रहे हैं।
