IJEN CRATER MOUNTAIN, THE HEART OF HEAVEN EAST END OF JAVA ISLAND

On the border between Banyuwangi Regency and Bondowoso Regency, East Java, there is a volcano that has a natural blue flame or "Blue Fire". Blue Fire naturally has only two places in the world, namely in Alaska and on this mountain. This mountain is called Mount Ijen.
Mount Ijen has an altitude of 2,386 meters above sea level and is lined with Mount Raung. This mountain last erupted in 1999.
ACCESS TO THE REGION
To climb Mount Ijen must start from paltuding, a place which is the main entrance or first post for climbers to go to Ijen Crater which is on the border of Bondowoso and Banyuwangi.
