The new policy of change in the education system of the country has finally arrived. The Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved the new education policy, in which many major changes have been made from school education to higher education. In the new policy, special emphasis has been given to keep mother tongue / local language / regional language as the medium of instruction, at least till grade 5 and beyond. Students will be given the opportunity to choose Sanskrit as an option at all levels of school and higher education.

देश की शिक्षा व्यवस्था में बदलाव की नई नीति आखिरकार आ गई है. केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने बुधवार को नयी शिक्षा नीति को मंजूरी दे दी, जिसमें स्कूली शिक्षा से लेकर उच्च शिक्षा तक कई बड़े बदलाव किये गए हैं. नयी नीति में कम से कम ग्रेड 5 तक और उससे आगे भी मातृभाषा/स्थानीय भाषा/क्षेत्रीय भाषा को ही शिक्षा का माध्यम रखने पर विशेष जोर दिया गया है. विद्यार्थियों को स्कूल के सभी स्तरों और उच्च शिक्षा में संस्कृत को एक विकल्प के रूप में चुनने का अवसर दिया जाएगा.
