SEBI extends timeline for Q1 earnings till Sep 15 amid COVID pandemic

Markets regulator SEBI announced relaxation of one month till September 15 to publicly listed companies for submitting their June quarter results amid coronavirus pandemic.
Sebi has received the requests from public listed companies for the time extension to submit their Quarter 1 results, due to less time availability between the submission of annual results for last year and this year quarter ending June 30.
Companies listed on exchanges are required to record their yearly results inside 60 days from the conclusion of a budgetary year, whereas within the case of quarterly results they are required to record it inside 45 days from the conclusion of a quarter. In June, Sebi had given another month extension till July 31 to listed companies for submitting their yearly results. Prior to the announcement, the due date was June 30.
