Ginger Chicken Handi is a tomato paste based curry spiced with Green n Red chilies & Ginger n Garlic. A very simple chicken dish to prepare within few minutes.
Ingredients:
- Oil 1/2 cup
-Chicken:
- Chicken 1 kg
Veggies:
- Tomatoes 4
- Ginger and garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Ginger fingers slices
- Green chili x4
Sauces:
- Soy-sauce 2 tbsp
- Vinegar 2 tbsp
Spices:
- Salt
- Sugar 1/2 Tsp
- Crushed red chili 1 Tsp
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Roasted cumin seeds 1 tbsp

Recipe:
- Marinate the chicken with Vinegar, sugar n Soya Sauce set aside for 30 mins approx. before frying.
- Now fry it in a Kadhai (Kadhai), till chicken turns white.
- In a cooking pan, add tomatoes with ginger garlic paste along with salt, turmeric powder & red chili.
- Now put the chicken into the cooking pan and roast it for 5-7 mins approximately.
- Adding cumin seeds, ginger slices, black pepper & green chilies to cook on low heat with covered lid for 10 mins approx.
- Garnish with Coriander leaves & dish is ready to serve.ginger
