Virus-free for months, Vietnam braces for latest wave of Covid-19

Vietnam’s Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc says every province and city in the country is at high risk of coronavirus infections as the nation braces for its latest wave of Covid-19. The warning issued July 29, 2020, followed reports of new cases in Da Nang city the previous week. Vietnam had been free from locally transmitted cases for over three months.
