Domestic veteran Rajat Bhatia announced retirement from all forms of cricket and he looks back at his long career with "no regrets" after coming close to play for India in 2014. The 40-year-old all-rounder started his career with Tamil Nadu in 2003-04 but played most of his cricket for Delhi. In the 2018-19, he guided new entrants Uttarakhand to the Ranji Trophy quarterfinals.Bhatia, who was considered Delhi cricket's crisis man, played 112 first-class games, scoring 6482 runs at an average of 49.10 apart from taking 137 wickets at 27.97. He also played 119 List A games and 146 T20s.

घरेलू क्रिकेट के सबसे बड़े खिलाड़ियों में से एक रजत भाटिया ने संन्यास ले लिया है. रजत भाटिया ने खेल के सभी प्रारूपों को अलविदा कह दिया है. यानी अब बल्ले और गेंद से चौके-छक्के लगाते हुए रजत भाटिया आपको नहीं दिखेंगे. रजत भाटिया दिल्ली क्रिकेट के सबसे बड़े खिलाड़ियों में से रहे हैं और लगभग 20 साल का उनका क्रिकेट करियर भी रहा. इन 20 सालों में उन्हें कभी नीली जर्सी पहनने का मौका नहीं मिला. बावजूद इसके उनकी गिनती भारत के बेहतरीन घरेलू खिलाड़ियों में होती रही थी. ऑलराउंडर खिलाड़ी थे इसलिए बल्ले और गेंद से प्रभावित करने का मौका नहीं गंवाते थे. आपको बता दें, 1999-2000 में रणजी तमिल नाडु के खिलाफ घरेलू क्रिकेट में डेब्यू किया था.
