Tender feeding frenzy untrue

Finance Minister Tito Mboweni has spoken out against tender corruption claims in the procurement of personal protective equipment. Not all tenders he says, give rise to corruption. Speaking during debate on the special adjustments budget in the National Assembly today, Mboweni said Treasury is looking at tightening procurement procedures. This includes the procurement of PPE at central government level.
