Chinese man lucky to avoid serious injury after fishing hook pierces his forehead

A man was lucky to escape serious injury after trying too hard to pull back the fishing hook causing the hook to fly back and pierce his face in southern China.

The video showed filmed in Jiangsu province shows the hooks pierced into the man's forehead and the skin under his eyes.

Firefighters came and used pliers to cut off the hook. The man went to hospital for further treatment.
