Rajasthan: SC to resume hearing of Speaker's petition today

The Supreme Court will resume hearing of Speaker CP Joshi's petition against the Rajasthan HC's order in which the court asked him to defer action against Sachin Pilot and his camp of rebel MLAs till July 24. The Speaker had moved the Supreme Court saying court cannot intervene in disqualification proceedings. During Thursday's hearing, Supreme Court refused to put a stay order on the high court decision and had postponed the hearing for today. The fate of MLAs are safe till the Supreme Court passes a verdict after the hearing into the Speaker's petition.
