CHOP Comes to Los Angeles: The Black Future Project

Please Subscribe. In the wake of the Black Lives Matter protests, Los Angeles got it's own version of Seattle's CHOP or CHAZ although much smaller and it has remained peaceful. The Black Futures Project is an encampment in Grand Park directly across from City Hall. It has been there since about June 26th or 27th. It states on Instagram that it is "a protest group organized to elevate black lives" and it has said it will remain there until its demands are met. Little has been published about this group and I don't see what their demands are stated in any media coverage.
