Gruesome moment farmyard pig is cut out of python's belly

This is the gruesome moment a farmyard pig was cut from a python's belly.
The 13ft long snake swallowed the swine in a village in Aurora, the Philippines. Locals who were concerned by the missing animal caught the reptile in bushes surrounding their homes and strung it up before slicing open its belly.
Horrifying footage shows the lifeless pig drop from the reptile and hit the ground.
Resident Armando Gotam said a local farmer asked his son to feed the animals but he came back saying two pigs and several chickens were missing.
He said: "We found one pig on the ground outside the pen. It had wounds on its hips. Another was missing.
"My neighbours told me that it might be a snake that had been stealing our animals so we went for a hunt."
Armando, his son, and his neighbours, later found the snake hiding under the bushes next to the the yard with the pig still inside its belly.

The pig was still intact when it fell out of the slit stomach which means that it had only been a few hours since the snake had eaten it.
They buried the dead pig in their yard together with the remains of the snake.
Village chieftain Dante Cawad said that their place had often been attacked by the snakes that lives on the forest next to their village.
He said: "I lost several chickens from the snakes that keep coming back when they are hungry."
Meanwhile, the provincial environment and natural resources chief Grace Padua reminded residents that hunting and killing pythons is illegal unless it is life-threatening to humans.
People who violated such laws may be imprisoned for up to 12 years and fined of up to 1 million pesos.
