Michigan Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib is in trouble in her home district.
She is facing a difficult primary fight against legendary Michigan politician Brenda Jones.
Tlaib is neck and neck with Jones.
If Tlaib wins her primary she will face beloved Michigan businessman Alfred "Al" Lemmo.
The Washington Times reports that Tlaib's reputation in her district has been cratering in recent weeks.
She clashed with Detroit Police Chief James Craig, a Black American, over police use of facial-recognition technology.
“I think non-African Americans think African Americans all look the same.”
Ms. Tlaib is a Palestinian American.
Chief Craig called the remark “racist.”
