NFL News: Washington Redskins Will Change Name and Logo

The Washington football team is officially dropping their Redskins name, the team announced in a statement on Monday morning. The decision came after pressure from FedEx, who urged the team to change the name and own the naming right's for the teams stadium. No word has been given yet on what the team will switch too.

Both owner Dan Snyder and head coach Ron Rivera are working on that aspect of the switch now.
