PH posts record-high 4,325 recoveries from COVID-19 in a day

The Philippines posted the highest number of recoveries from COVID-19 in a single day at 4,325 on Monday as cases of the disease reached 57,006.
The Department of Health reported a record-high 4,325 recovered patients, bringing the total number of recoveries nationwide to 20,371.
The country recorded its previous record-high recoveries of 2,009 on July 12 which was actually released Monday morning.
A total of 836 new cases were confirmed Monday, breaching the 57,000-mark, while 65 new fatalities were reported, bringing the death tally to 1,599.
The country has 35,036 active cases as of Monday.
