China’s emblem goes up as Hong Kong hotel becomes Beijing’s national security office in city

China’s governmental emblem was put in place on a Hong Kong hotel as it was being taken over to serve as Beijing’s national security office in the city. The Metropark Hotel in Causeway Bay was set to start operations on July 8, 2020, according to a government source. Workers installed the emblem to the hotel entrance at midnight on July 8.
