More than 1,000 boxes of Chinese liquor scattered across a road after the side door on a transport truck trailer opened in eastern China.

The CCTV video, shot in Shanghai on July 3, shows the side door of the trailer suddenly opening, causing the boxes of Chinese liquor to fall out onto the road.

Nearby police arrived on the site to pick up the boxes and put them back into the truck.

After around half an hour, the traffic returned back to normal.

According to reports, the truck can only load up to eight tons of items but the Chinese liquor was over 11 tons.

The case is in further investigation. The video was provided by local media with permission.
