With heavy downpours lashing out across the country, the normal course of activities was broken in western India’s Gujarat after drains flooded.

The water levels in the Khokhaddad river in Rajkot rose on July 5, as the heavy rainfall persisted for two consecutive days.

In visuals, the local market can be seen swamped with rainwater, as staircases mimic waterfalls across the town.

According to reports, a pickup truck was washed away in a flash flood leaving three people stranded.

The fire department team of Rajkot was reported to have arrived on the spot to rescue the stranded persons.
